The industrial zone Aktobe is ready to borrow the experience of the development of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow. This was stated by representatives of Kazakhstan at a meeting with the leadership and residents of the capital's special economic zone.
Aktobe region is a major industrial and logistic center of Kazakhstan. Cooperation and studying the economic and investment development of this region is important for Moscow, says Gennady Degtev, CEO of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ.
"Special economic and industrial zones are actively developing in all the EAEU countries and each of them has its own advantages. Kazakhstan's experience in managing the Aktobe industrial zone and interacting with the Asian market will allow SEZ Technopolis Moscow to study the international market and the peculiarities of the investment climate in Kazakhstan", - Gennady Degtev said.
During the meeting, representatives of the delegation were shown the eco-friendly processing of plastics from Ecoplast, as well as the production of Orthomoda orthopedic shoes and adaptive clothing.
"High-quality and deep processing of waste electronic and electrical equipment, in particular body plastics from used equipment, requires serious investment, so the benefits provided to our plant Ecoplast, as a resident of SEZ Technopolis Moscow, are very important. We are ready to share our own experience of successful cooperation with foreign colleagues,” - said Alexandra Shadyuk, CEO of Ecopolis Corporation.
SEZ Technopolis Moscow regularly receives delegations from Russian regions and other countries. Over the past year, 33 delegations got acquainted with the work of the site.

Equipment for the cable car between the stations "...
The Moscow Government and the Swiss company Bartholet Maschinenbau AG have signed an agreement on the implementation of investment project for production of equipment for the cable car at SEZ Technopolis Moscow. This was announced by Vladimir Efimov, the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for economic policy and property and land relations.
"The project will allow localizing a modern full-cycle enterprise in Moscow, to transfer standards and innovative technologies from Switzerland to the territory of the Russian Federation. Construction and installation work are scheduled to start in April, and production is scheduled to start in September this year. The amount of investment put in the project will amount to 1.5 billion rubles,”- the Vice Mayor said.
During implementation of the project, manufacturer will launch production of equipment for creating a cable car between the metro stations Skhodnenskaya and Rechnoy Vokzal. The construction will be carried out by consortium that won the competition for the right to enter into a concession agreement. The consortium includes the company Moscow cable cars and the leading international company in the field of equipment for cable car systems, amusement parks, engineering and lighting systems.
Roland Bartolet, President of Bartholet Maschinenbau AG, arrived to Moscow to sign the localization agreement.
"The production of cable cars in Russia will take place using Bartholet technologies and the highest standards of Swiss quality. The production will create 70 new jobs with an average salary of 90 thousand rubles. I am sure that the document signed today will give a new impetus to the development of the capital as a metropolis with the latest and breakthrough solutions”, - said Roland Bartolet, President of bartholet Maschinenbau AG.
The draft concession agreement was published in March 2019.
"We received quite a large number of applications for participation in the competition for the construction and subsequent operation of the cable car. On December 18, we summed up the results by informing the public about the winner. The volume of private investment in the creation of a new cable car will amount to 3 billion rubles, costs from the city budget are not provided,” - said Alexander Prokhorov, head Of the Department of investment and industrial policy of Moscow.
"Today, more than 140 high-tech companies are localized in the SEZ, 67 of them are residents of the SEZ. Creating new high-performance jobs during production localization is a priority for the capital's economy. The placement of such an important and significant project will increase the investment attractiveness and recognition of the SEZ Technopolis Moscow, but most importantly, will contribute to the influx of foreign investment in the capital,” - said Gennady Degtev, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow.

Possible cooperation discussed with Japanese colleagues
A delegation of high-tech companies from Japan visited the site of the Moscow SEZ in Pechatniki district. The guests got acquainted with the opportunities of the SEZ for foreign investors and the work of resident companies.
Anton Karkashin, the head manager for investor relations of SEZ Technopolis Moscow, presented the infrastructure, engineering system, greenfield and brownfield sites for the guests, and spoke about the preferential tax regime and the personnel training system. He stressed that the team of the special economic zone is happy to see interest in the site and looks forward to long-term cooperation.
Representatives of the delegation made a presentation of their companies and noted that the main task of the visit is to find partners: "We are planning to organize joint development and possibly produce products. It is also important to understand how much Japanese companies ' services in the field of network infrastructure and security, IT solutions, energy, AI, and the Internet of things are in demand in the Russian market”.
At the end of the meeting, the guests were given an excursion to the training and production site of the Moscow state educational complex and to the clean rooms of the SPC Specialelectronsystem.

A delegation from India headed by the Secretary of the Ministry of electronics and information technology, Mr. Ajay Prakash Souhni, visited Moscow SEZ in Pechatniki. The result of the visit was signing of agreement on joint work on the development of Indian and Russian startups and high-tech companies in the field of innovation and entrepreneurship.
"The key focus of the Moscow authorities' work is to develop partnerships with the international community. The signed document provides mutual exchange of experience, assistance in the development of high-tech companies, training of highly qualified personnel and research, and assistance in entering the Russian and Indian markets. As part of the program, representatives of Russian and Indian startups and high-tech enterprises will pay mutual visits”, - said Alexander Prokhorov, the head of the Moscow Department of investment and industrial policy.
During the visit, guests were told about the SEZ territories in Moscow, engineering infrastructure, Greenfield and brownfield sites, the procedure for obtaining resident status, tax benefits for high-tech companies and other services created by the city authorities. During the meeting, representatives of the Indian delegation stressed the importance of mutual cooperation in terms of entering the Russian market for Indian companies and noted that the most attractive sides for them are the comfortable business conditions provided by the Moscow SEZ.
At the end, the delegation had a tour to the production building, the company for the production of specialized communication and data transmission equipment Goodwin and the factory for processing plastic cases from electronics and electrical engineering Ecoplast.

The new Director of Technopolis Moscow was introduced to the personnel of the special economic zone. The meeting was held at the SEZ site in Pechatniki on January 22.
"Mr. Degtev has unique managerial competencies that allow solving problems of any complexity. During his years in the Moscow Government, he built an effective public procurement system. We must note the project of creating a supplier Portal-an electronic trading platform that currently operates in 35 Russian regions. In his new position, Gennady Degtev will oversee the development of the Moscow special economic zone sites, attracting unique industries, and world leaders in engineering”, - said Vladimir Efimov, Deputy mayor for economic policy and property and land relations of Moscow.
The Moscow SEZ consists of five sites with a total area of 206.8 hectares, whose goal is to develop innovative technologies and smart solutions, and introduce the most advanced technologies. During the international forum Electric networks - 2019, which was held at the VDNKH site from 3 to 6 December, the capital company Profotech increased the number of its partners in the development of unique innovative solutions in the energy sector. Cooperation agreements were signed with JSC VO Electroapparat and LLC ABB Electric Networks. The creation of new technological solutions within the framework of the expanded partnership is aimed at meeting the growing needs for digitalization of Russian industrial companies.
Within the framework of the international forum Electric networks-2019 the solemn signing of the cooperation agreement between JSC Profotech and joint Stock company of high-voltage equipment Electroapparat took place. The parties are interested in long-term partnership for the purpose of production, testing, technical support and service of high-voltage complete switchgear with gas isolation (CPE) for voltage classes 110-330 kV with digital current measuring transformers.
An agreement was also signed between JSC Profotech and LLC ABB Electric Networks. The companies have already started implementing a project on joint development, testing and promotion of high-voltage compact modules on the basis of switches with electronic measuring current transformers (TT) and voltage transformers (TN) on the Russian market. The parties agreed on the pilot implementation of innovative devices and systems at the facilities of the power grid complex. Manufacturers will provide technical support and maintenance of electrical equipment.

Plastic processing plant to appear in Moscow
Crushed plastic and a mix of office equipment in high-quality pellets used as secondary raw materials for the manufacture of new electronics, automotive components and building materials will process at the territory of SEZ Technopolis Moscow.
The capacity of the first stage of the high-tech plant Ecoplast for recycling secondary plastic will be 25 thousand tons per year.
"The production located in SEZ Technopolis Moscow is in the stage of pilot operation. Ecopolis Corporation, which includes Ecoplast, has invested more than 7 billion rubles in the e-waste processing industry in Russia. To date, Ecoplast created 47 jobs. The output of the enterprise to the design capacity is planned until the end of 2019”, -said Alexander Prokhorov, the head of the Department of investment and industrial policy of Moscow.
According to Igor Ishchenko, CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow, the company's management takes a responsible approach to environmental issues and environmental management.
"In the production process, a closed water supply system and modern gas cleaning equipment are used. Thus, the company has a minimal impact on the environment, which is a key requirement for high - tech industries of SEZ residents and is especially important in the conditions of the Metropolitan metropolis”, - Igor Ishchenko said.
Moscow annually accumulates about 130 thousand tons of waste electronic equipment, which are the most toxic and harmful to the environment. The total capacity of the complex of full-cycle plants will allow processing half of this volume. Recycling efficiency is estimated at 95% of the incoming volume of plastics of electronic and household appliances.
"We build infrastructure on the basis of advanced world technologies, create unique engineering solutions for the maximum possible extraction of useful components from waste electronics and return them to economic turnover. Our task is to create a culture of electronic waste management both in Moscow and in other regions of Russia”, - said Maxim Lobanov, General Director of Ecopolis Corporation.
SEZ Technopolis Moscow – is a specialized area for the development of industrial and technical and implementation activities of the capital. Currently, 130 high-tech companies are located on the territory of the SEZ, 62 of them are residents of the SEZ. Companies with resident status enjoy a special tax regime and a free customs zone, which makes it possible to reduce the total tax burden to 47%. SEZ residents are engaged in developments and innovations in the field of high-tech production, including microelectronics, instrumentation, information and telecommunication technologies, medical equipment. To date, residents have already invested about 24 billion rubles in the development of their production facilities and created more than 5,830 jobs.

The General contract for the design and construction of the innovation center between Solar Group and BLOCK was signed at June 13, 2019, as well as signing a contract for a technical customer between Solar Group and Technopolis Moscow.
The new innovation center of the Moscow Company will be located on the territory SEZ Technopolis Moscow. Its creation is aimed at solving one of the most important problems of the modern world: reducing electricity consumption.
The solemn signing of the agreements was held in the presence of Emil Petrosyan, the Deputy Head of the Department of investment and industrial policy of Moscow, Andrey Novozhilov, the Deputy Head of Zelenograd administrative district of Moscow and Igor Ishchenko, the CEO of SEZ Technopolis Moscow.
"Moscow is making a lot of efforts to make high-tech companies feel comfortable in the capital. The task of the city is to create opportunities for growth; the responsibility of business is to use them wisely. The example of today's partnership shows that we have a huge potential to increase the industrial power of the capital”, - Emil Petrosyan said in his opening speech.

Igor Ischenko, SEZ Technopolis Moscow CEO, took part in SEMIEXPO Russia 2019.
SEMIEXPO is an international exhibition&conference on technologies, standards and equipment in the field of microelectronics. SEMIEXPO Russia 2019 unites the international specialized exhibition with the two-day business program that features heads and top managers of the largest microelectronic companies, authorities, representatives of research institutes and international associations. SEMIEXPO partner this year is the city of Dresden, known as the center of European microelectronics.
At a panel discussion titled The Development of Clusters and Technoparks. International Experience and Russian Projects Igor Ischenko presented SEZ solutions for microelectronics companies. Today SEZ Technopolis Moscow unites several dozens of industrial companies for design centers to component manufactures.
‘SEZ infrastructure includes a solution kit for industrial companies such as clean rooms, ready-to-use brownfield units, greenfiled land plots with utility systems. Currently we are also building R&D and lab facilities. One of SEZ goals is to offer infrastructural solutions and ready-to-use industrial facilities that create favourable business conditions for microelectronics companies. In this relation we are definitely following the latest world trends,’ Ischenko commented.
Other foreign experts also shared their solutions in business development for microelectronis companies: Dick Hilbert, Mayor of Dresden, talked about his city’s experience, and Silicone Saxony Chairman Torsten Thieme presented his organization as a rapidly developing structure. ‘Silicone Saxony today is a unique synthesis of industry and research with over 1,500 ICT companies and over 43,000 staff members’, he said. Emir Demircan, Senior Manager Advocacy and Public Policy, SEMI Europe, commented on increasing worldwide interest in industrial clusterization and shared the international experience of SEMI.
Russian experts Tamara Rondaleva, Chief Executive Officer, St. Petersburg Special Economic Zone, Maria Chekadanova, Deputy General Director of R&P Corp Istok JSC , and Alexey Yartsev, GS Nanotech Technical Director presented their industrial sires to potential foreign investors.

Crocus Nanoelectronics, a technological leader in Magnetoresistive Random Access Memory (MRAM) production, organized a session titled Russia as a Growing Market and Its Opportunities. The participants discussed the potential of Russian microelectronics industry for foreign partners and its technical capacity for developing unique solutions.
IVA Technologies, a Russian brand of ICT equipment and software produced by Hitech Group of Companies, presented IVA TPU - the first made-in-Russia Neural Processing Unit for acceleration of neural system computation. ESTO Research and Production Enterprise (its subsidiary company ESTO-INTEGRATION is a tenant of SEZ) also presented its equipment.
Mikron Group of Companies, the largest microelectronics manufacturer and exporter in Russia, expert center and technological leader of Russian semiconductor industry, took part in the business program of the event.
