Racing cars, fire‑fighting robots, electric vehicles: a gigantic exhibition awaits the guests of “TechnoFest”

The production achievements of the residents of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ will be presented at “Technofest”. The event will take place on August 22 at the Northern River Station. This was announced by Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.

“Over the 20 years of its operation, the Moscow SEZ has secured its status as a leading center for the development of high technologies. Leaders in the pharmaceutical industry and manufacturers of medical devices, microelectronics, information technology, and instrument‑making are based here. The products of these enterprises help hundreds of thousands of people across the country every day.” “Guests of ‘Tehnofest’ will be able to get acquainted with the products manufactured in the preferential territory,” said Maxim Liksutov.

Thus, festival participants will see high‑speed cars for professional athletes and car enthusiasts. Racing cars can reach speeds of up to 260 kilometres per hour, and they accelerate from 0 to 100 kilometres per hour in 4.3 seconds.

Guests will also be able to appreciate the spaciousness and practicality of the UMO electric vehicle, which began production this year at the Moskvich automobile plant, and pre‑sale preparation is carried out at one of the sites of the Technopolis Moscow special economic zone. The vehicles are already being used in taxis and car‑sharing.

The manufacturer of multifunctional Russian devices for fintech will present ATMs at “Technofest”. The devices are equipped with current technological solutions, including a set of anti‑fraud protection tools, biometric cameras, and barcode and QR code readers. The products are available not only in Moscow but also in the Omsk, Novosibirsk, Leningrad, and Rostov regions, as well as in other regions..

In the demo zone, you will be able to see SUP boards, scooters, boats, bicycles, and sports equipment made of composite materials. Another development is a fire‑fighting robot. The product was created based on its own designs and is designed to extinguish fires of any hazard class at the most challenging facilities, including nuclear power plants, mines, and warehouse complexes, as well as in cases of uncontrolled fire spread in natural environments. The robot barista will brew coffee for the festival guests. The complex is based on domestic industrial collaborative robots.

The Karacharovskiy Mechanical Plant, which is a resident of the Moscow SEZ, will present two modern elevators. The “Moskvich” model was created in collaboration with the legendary automobile plant of the same name. The model combines modern engineering technologies and elements of the car brand’s corporate design; it is distinguished by smooth and quiet operation, high stopping accuracy, and comfortable, silent door opening. The elevator is equipped with a modern control system that ensures reliable and convenient operation in residential, administrative, and office buildings.

The “Vozdukh” elevator cabin was developed by the manufacturer taking into account modern requirements for design, comfort, and operational reliability. The model won the “Best Elevator for New Buildings” category at the International Exhibition of Elevators and Lifting Equipment Russian Elevator Week‑2025. The cabin design incorporates both design and digital solutions. The light strip running along the entire perimeter creates an original visual effect, and the full‑height mirror in the cabin allows for additional screen integration.

The organizers of “Technofest” have prepared activities for the whole family.
