In the special economic zone (SEZ) “Technopolis Moscow,” the number of micro‑markets selling ready‑made food has doubled. Automated food outlets are operating at the “Alabushevo,” “Pechatniki,” and “Rudnevo” sites. This was announced by Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.
“On the instructions of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, we are consistently creating a full‑fledged urban environment at the sites of the capital’s special economic zone. All the necessary infrastructure for work and leisure has been created here.” Today, employees of the enterprises and residents of nearby areas can spend their leisure time without leaving the SEZ territory. To make things more convenient for workers and visitors, the number of micro‑markets selling ready‑made food has been doubled — now there are 34 vending machines installed at three sites,” noted Maxim Liksutov.
In addition to micro‑markets, canteens, cafes and coffee shops are open at the Moscow SEZ sites. Employees and guests have a choice — to use the fast service or to visit a full‑fledged food service point. The vending machines operate 24/7 and allow you to get ready‑made food without queues.
The Special Economic Zone “Technopolis Moscow” is celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2026. Over the past two decades, the project has transformed from a launchpad for innovative projects into a key hub for domestic industry and a magnet for companies that define Russia’s technological sovereignty. Today, production of more than 240 high‑tech enterprises representing such strategic areas as microelectronics, instrument engineering, biomedicine, IT, and robotics has been localized across 10 sites of the Technopolis Moscow special economic zone, with a total area of 430 hectares.
Moscow is actively developing industrial infrastructure and creating conditions for the localization of production. Thanks to the city’s solutions, enterprises have the opportunity to expand their capacity and enter new markets. The capital also helps to provide companies with high‑tech machines and equipment. This aligns with the objectives of the national project “Means of Production and Automation.”
