In the special economic zone (SEZ) “Technopolis Moscow,” a special project called “At Height” has been launched. Now, employees of enterprises and residents of the South‑Eastern Administrative District can engage in various sports on the roof of the TechnoFlagman business center. This was announced by Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.
“On the instructions of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, a full‑fledged urban environment for the life and recreation of employees is being created in the Moscow SEZ, where more than 33,000 people are currently working. The special project “At the Heights” allows residents and residents of the district to spend time actively without leaving the territory of the special economic zone. The classes take place on the roof of the TechnoFlagman business center, which has a greened, usable roof with areas for workout and relaxation,” noted Maxim Liksutov.
On the roof of the business center, there is a “TechnoVeranda” area. More than 1,400 trees and shrubs have been planted here, and sports equipment and play structures have been installed. For project participants, classes have been prepared in Zumba, dance fitness, yoga, and stretching. You can sign up for the workouts via the link.
The special project “At Height” allows Muscovites to organize free workouts on open rooftops, where exercises are combined with panoramic views of the city. This is part of the large‑scale city program “My Sports District.” The rooftop workouts will continue until the end of September.
The Technopolis Moscow SEZ is celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2026. Over the past two decades, it has transformed from a launchpad for innovative projects into a key hub for domestic industry and a centre for companies that define Russia’s technological sovereignty. Today, production of more than 240 high‑tech enterprises representing such strategic areas as microelectronics, instrument engineering, biomedicine, IT and robotics is located across 10 sites of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ, spread over 430 hectares. The number of highly qualified jobs created is 33 thousand.
Moscow is actively developing social infrastructure in industrial areas. Thanks to urban solutions, employees of high-tech enterprises receive not only modern workplaces, but also high-quality public spaces for recreation. This contributes to the development of the national project "Infrastructure for Life".
