The large‑scale cultural and educational project “TechnoVernissage” has been launched in the special economic zone (SEZ) “Technopolis Moscow”. Contemporary artists will present their works on the territory of the capital’s main industrial site. This was announced by Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.
“Today, the SEZ ‘Technopolis Moscow’ has created a fully‑fledged urban environment where public and cultural life is concentrated on par with production processes.” On the territory of the special economic zone, new recreation areas, sports facilities, and spaces are emerging, where residents of nearby areas can spend their time as well. For example, a large‑scale exhibition called “TechnoVernissage” has recently opened — contemporary artists are presenting their works right on the grounds of the industrial cluster,” said Maxim Liksutov.
The first works presented in the “TechnoVernissage” gallery were by the “Light of Watercolour” studio. Its head is Svetlana Yemets, a member of the Union of Artists of the Moscow Region. At the “Alabushevo” site, you can see still lifes and landscapes painted by both emerging and already well‑known authors — students of the studio. Later, the exhibition will also be presented in “Pechatniki” and “Rudnevo”.
The special economic zone “Technopolis Moscow” will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2026. Over two decades, the project has transformed from a launchpad for innovative projects into a key hub for domestic industry and a centre of attraction for companies that define Russia’s technological sovereignty. Today, production of more than 240 high‑tech enterprises representing such strategic areas as microelectronics, instrument engineering, biomedicine, IT, and robotics is localized across 10 sites of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ, with a total area of 430 hectares.
Moscow is actively developing social infrastructure in production areas. Thanks to urban solutions, employees of high‑tech enterprises receive not only modern jobs but also high‑quality public spaces for recreation. This contributes to the development of the national project “Infrastructure for Life”.
