The festival, dedicated to the 20th anniversary of the special economic zone (SEZ) “Technopolis Moscow,” will be held at the Northern River Terminal on August 22. Today, the city’s main industrial platform unites more than 240 high‑tech companies employing over 33,000 people. This was announced by Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.
“Over the past 20 years, the “Technopolis Moscow” SEZ has become one of the country’s main industrial platforms.” Advanced production facilities are concentrated here – from microelectronics to biomedicine and robotics. We want Muscovites to see this infrastructure in person. That’s why the SEZ is holding a special event at the Northern River Terminal. Guests will be able to learn how modern production facilities work, talk to experts, and spend time on one of the most beautiful waterfronts in the capital,” said Maxim Liksutov.
The event will feature a program for all ages. At the mega‑exhibition, they will showcase the products of SEZ residents and exhibits from the companies’ museums. Experts will hold lectures and talk shows, organize quizzes and master classes. Those interested will be able to get career guidance consultations.
A separate section will be devoted to ecology. Guests will see experiments with biodegradable materials and learn about the “Green Transport” exhibition of electric vehicles. At the venue, you can also check what environmental footprint your family leaves — an interactive calculator has been prepared for this purpose. And in the “Second Life of Electronics” area, old smartphones and tablets will be accepted for recycling. Children will create a collective graffiti piece titled “Eco‑City of the Future.”
A separate venue will be set up for students, entrepreneurs, and investors. There, they will be able to interact with representatives of universities and companies in a networking format. For children aged four and up, science experiments, games, and masterclasses have been prepared. The kids will meet the animator Technarik and get a chance to work at the interactive desks provided by the “Next‑T” company.
The area will also feature photo zones and a creative space. Mobile cafes offering healthy food and a chess zone will be available for guests. In addition, zumba classes and a fishing master class will be organized. The celebration will be completed with a show featuring a performance by Valery Syutkin, an Honored Artist of Russia. Pre‑registration is required to participate.
