For the first time, graduation ceremonies for college graduates were held at the Technopolis Moscow SEZ

About a thousand students received documents confirming their secondary vocational education. The ceremonial events took place at the “Rudnevo” and “Pechatniki” sites, said Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.

“On the instructions of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, the city is paying special attention to training personnel for high‑tech industries, in particular through cooperation with Moscow’s colleges.” Three practical training centers have already been opened at the Moscow SEZ sites, where students acquire skills in conditions that are as close as possible to real production. In 2026, for the first time, solemn diploma award ceremonies were held on the territory of the special economic zone, where the production facilities of the city’s leading employers are concentrated,” noted Maxim Liksutov.

At the Rudnevo site, about 560 students of Polytechnic College No. 8 named after twice Hero of the Soviet Union I. F. Pavlov received their diplomas. Young professionals obtained the professions of operators and adjusters of numerically controlled machines, mechanical engineering technologists, welders, and specialists in the field of information security.

At the “Pechatniki” site, in the center for practical training in mechanical engineering, 437 diplomas were awarded to graduates of the Moscow State Educational Complex. Educational documents were issued to students in such in‑demand specialties as additive technologies, numerically controlled machine operators, turners, and millers.

Students completed internships at enterprises of the SEZ “Technopolis Moscow”. Some of them received job offers from companies that produce medical devices, lithium‑ion batteries, displays, and interactive equipment, as well as repair spindle units for numerically controlled machines. In addition, the Moscow State Educational Complex is conducting targeted training of 62 specialists in the installation of electronic devices and mechanical engineering technology for one of the residents of the special economic zone.

The highlight of the celebration was an event featuring a time capsule — a gift to graduates from the Moscow SEZ. Inside it, there are parting words and wishes for future freshmen from those who graduated from colleges this year. The capsule was placed in the demo zone at the “Pechatniki” site, and it will be opened on September 1.
