A resident of the Moscow SEZ has registered more than 70 results of intellectual activity

The resident of the special economic zone (SEZ) “Technopolis Moscow,” the Mikron plant, registered four new intellectual property objects in 2025. Among them are one invention and three microchips. The developments are intended for industrial electronics and power engineering. This was announced by Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.

“On the instructions of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, the city is providing special support to high‑tech and knowledge‑intensive industries, including microelectronics.” This allows for faster development and creation of critical products. In 2025 alone, a resident of the capital’s special economic zone registered one invention and three microchips. Currently, the company’s portfolio includes more than 70 results of intellectual activity — 33 patents and 39 certificates for products,” Maxim Liksutov clarified.

The new developments are aimed at replacing imported component bases. The invention “Reference Voltage Generator Device” was created with state support. The first samples are planned to be released in 2027. Three other developments — a universal DC-DC converter, a linear voltage regulator, and a half-duplex transceiver — will become an important foundation for industrial electronics. The company’s products will be used in key sectors of the economy: from the automotive industry and robotics to telecommunications technologies.

The special economic zone “Technopolis Moscow” will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2026. Over two decades, the project has grown from a launchpad for innovation into a key hub for domestic industry. Today, more than 240 high‑tech enterprises are operating across 10 SEZ sites with a total area of over 430 hectares. They are developing microelectronics, instrument engineering, biomedicine, the IT sector, and robotics. The number of highly skilled jobs created exceeds 33,000.

The capital is building the foundation for the country’s technological sovereignty. Thanks to city‑level solutions and support measures, residents of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ are increasing the production of innovative products and expanding their presence in global markets. This contributes to the implementation of the national project “Efficient and Competitive Economy.”
