Composite blocks of the Moscow SEZ resident were used during the reconstruction of the M-4 Don highway

The products of Technopolis Moscow, a resident of the special economic zone (SEZ), were used to equip the overpass on the 969th kilometer of the M-4 Don highway in the Rostov region. During the reconstruction, the builders used composite cornice blocks, a modern replacement for metal analogues. This was announced by Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.

"A resident of the Moscow SEZ produces products made of new materials for the construction industry. Today, its products are used in the construction and reconstruction of federal highways, overpasses and bridges. The company's production program is planned for years to come. This is helped, among other things, by the benefits that the city provides to residents of the special economic zone on behalf of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin. In recent years, the company has expanded its production facilities to more than 14,000 square meters. And its revenue exceeded 13.2 billion rubles," Maxim Liksutov said.

The Nanotechnology Center for Composites company became the developer and manufacturer of composite blocks. The products were used on the section of the highway from the 933rd to the 1024th kilometer as part of the reconstruction. Composite blocks are a modern replacement for their metal counterparts, which rust over time and require more effort during installation. Composite products are not afraid of temperature fluctuations or chemicals from deicing reagents. They weigh little, are easy to attach, and last for more than 30 years with minimal maintenance costs.

Previously, railings, staircases and more than seven kilometers of drainage troughs of the same company were already used on other sections of the M-4 Don highway in the Krasnodar Territory.

Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2026. Over two decades, the project has grown from a launching pad for innovation to a key hub of the domestic industry. Today, over 240 high-tech enterprises operate on 10 sites of the SEZ with a total area of more than 430 hectares. They are developing microelectronics, instrumentation, biomedicine, IT, and robotics.

The capital creates the basis for the technological sovereignty of the country. Thanks to urban solutions and support measures, residents of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ are increasing the production of innovative products and expanding their presence in global markets. This contributes to the implementation of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy".
