Technopolis Moscow SEZ resident has developed a desktop greenhouse with a mini-computer for children

The basic version of the Smart Greenhouse kit for children from the age of six was released by Technopolis Moscow, a resident of the special economic zone (SEZ). With its help, children can learn how to grow plants, program irrigation and lighting systems. This was announced by Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.

"Moscow SEZ enterprises make an important contribution to the training of engineering personnel and the popularization of modern industry. Thus, the developer and manufacturer of teaching materials, as well as digital educational equipment for educational institutions, has released a basic version of the Smart Greenhouse kit. With its help, children can simultaneously try themselves as a biologist, engineer and programmer," said Maxim Liksutov.

The educational kit is produced by the Scientific Entertainment company. When assembled, it is a small tabletop greenhouse with which you can observe plants and create design work in biology, physics and robotics. The device has a built-in mini-computer that collects data from a multi-sensor around the clock: air temperature, soil moisture and lighting level.

The company develops and manufactures teaching materials and digital educational equipment for schools and kindergartens. The products help to solve the main task — to create an interactive environment for training future specialists from an early age. The company has more than 30 patents for its developments, and 90 items are included in the register of Russian industrial products of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation.

Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2026. Over two decades, the project has grown from a launching pad for innovation to a key hub of the domestic industry. Today, over 240 high-tech enterprises operate on 10 sites of the SEZ with a total area of more than 430 hectares. They are developing microelectronics, instrumentation, biomedicine, IT, and robotics. The number of highly qualified jobs created exceeds 33 thousand.

The capital creates the basis for the technological sovereignty of the country. Thanks to urban solutions and support measures, residents of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ are increasing the production of innovative products and expanding their presence in global markets. This contributes to the implementation of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy"
