The number of jobs in the Technopolis Moscow SEZ has reached 33 thousand

The number of jobs in the Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone (SEZ) has exceeded 33,000. In the first quarter of 2026 alone, 1,194 new vacancies were opened here. This is 1.2 times more than a year earlier, said Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.

"More than 240 enterprises of the SEZ of the capital produce important products for the residents of the country — modern medicines, innovative equipment, software and electronic component base. The total number of employees here has reached 33 thousand people, of which 25.4 thousand specialists work at the resident enterprises. Over 68% of vacancies are concentrated at three sites: Pechatniki, Alabushevo and Rudnevo. The largest of them is Pechatniki, where more than 11.5 thousand people work at 130 enterprises. They produce medical products and medicines, new materials and parts for electric vehicles," Maxim Liksutov said.

The leaders in terms of jobs created in the first quarter of 2026 were companies that replace imported products and launch new projects. So, the company "KIT‑Monarch, which manufactures large-sized residential modules, has increased its staff by 547 people. The company was granted resident status in 2024 and has since created more than 2.3 thousand jobs in the city.

The Karacharovsky Mechanical Plant created over 60 jobs in three months of 2026. In total, the company currently employs more than 1,2 thousand specialists. With the support of the city, the plant is modernizing production to produce more elevators and replace imported components.

In addition, 47 highly qualified jobs have been opened in the SEZ thanks to the launch of the Intechpro company, which produces printed circuit boards for monoblocks, laptops and computer components.

Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2026. Over two decades, the project has grown from a launching pad for innovation to a key hub of the domestic industry. Today, more than 240 high-tech enterprises operate on 10 sites of the SEZ with a total area of more than 430 hectares. They are developing microelectronics, instrumentation, biomedicine, IT, and robotics.

The capital creates the basis for the technological sovereignty of the country. Thanks to urban solutions and support measures, residents of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ are increasing the production of innovative products and expanding their presence in global markets. This contributes to the implementation of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy".
