Technopolis Moscow SEZ and Innovation Promotion Fund to strengthen support for technology business

A partnership agreement for the development of innovative projects and the scientific and technical sphere was signed by the Technopolis Moscow SEZ and the Innovation Promotion Foundation at the XXIX St. Petersburg International Economic Forum. The parties will focus on creating favorable conditions for the development of small businesses in the scientific and technical field and the implementation of high-tech projects.

"Moscow's SEZ is the flagship of the capital's industry, where over 240 enterprises are concentrated today. The agreement with the Innovation Promotion Foundation is another strategic step in ensuring a full technological cycle: from the idea to the launch of production. The partnership will allow small innovative companies to receive systematic support, give an impetus to their development and accelerate the implementation of high—tech projects," said Gennady Degtev, CEO of Technopolis Moscow SEZ.

The agreement is concluded for a period of 5 years.

Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2026. Over two decades, the project has transformed from a launching pad for innovative projects into a key hub for the domestic industry and a center of attraction for companies that determine Russia's technological sovereignty. Today, the production of more than 240 high-tech enterprises representing such strategic areas as microelectronics, instrumentation, biomedicine, IT and robotics is localized at 10 sites of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ with a total area of 430 hectares.

Moscow is actively developing industrial infrastructure for high-tech enterprises. Thanks to urban solutions, companies are increasing their output and launching innovative production facilities. This contributes to the implementation of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy".
