Technopolis Moscow SEZ has launched a summer program for children

The Technocanicals summer program for children has been launched on the territory of the Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone (SEZ). The participants of the fourth season will take courses for young engineers, excursions to high-tech production facilities and a rich game program. This was announced by Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.

"On behalf of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, the city pays special attention to additional education. Summer intensive courses, educational and entertainment events are organized for children on the territory of the capital's SEZ. So, on June 1, the fourth season of the Technocanicals project started, in which schoolchildren not only relax, but also immerse themselves in the features of modern industries. This makes it possible to set a career guidance vector for young Muscovites in a playful and exciting way, providing them with knowledge about engineering professions," said Maxim Liksutov.

The program is designed for children from six to 12 years old. This year, it was created together with the resident company Scientific Entertainment, which produces digital educational kits, and the Arena Play Technopolis sports center.

Children are on the territory of the SEZ from 08:30 to 18:00, three meals a day are provided for them. Creative workshops, educational excursions to enterprises and sports training are waiting for the children. The program also includes weeks of crafts and art, history and local history, biology and ecology, theater and media, science and technology.

In addition, economic games, cybersecurity and financial literacy trainings, board games, quizzes, quests, hiking and outdoor concerts are organized for children.

The Technocanicals project was primarily created for the children of employees of the Moscow SEZ. However, everyone can take part in it. To do this, you need to leave a request on the website.

Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2026. Over two decades, the project has grown from a launching pad for innovation to a key hub of the domestic industry. Today, more than 240 high-tech enterprises operate on 10 sites of the SEZ with a total area of more than 430 hectares. They are developing microelectronics, instrumentation, biomedicine, IT, and robotics.

Conducting career guidance events for students in the capital contributes to the development of children's talents and the formation of skills that will be useful to them in their future profession, and corresponds to the objectives of the Professionalism project of the national Youth and Children project.
