This year, new recreation spaces for employees of enterprises and citizens will appear on the territory of the Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone (SEZ). Landscaping works are continuing at the Alabushevo and Pechatniki sites. This was announced by Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.
"On behalf of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, we are developing the infrastructure of the capital's special economic zone. So, at the Pechatniki site, work is being completed to create a new space for recreation. There will be a summer veranda and an open-air lounge area, as well as a squash court. The square with an amphitheater will be renovated in Alabushevo and the green alley of residents will be extended. And landscaping will be carried out in the Rudnevo Industrial Park," Maxim Liksutov said.
Industrial sites are becoming new points of attraction, where it is comfortable for both employees and visitors. In 2025, more than three thousand shrubs and trees were planted in the preferential territory of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ. And this year, 3.3 thousand varieties of annual and perennial plants, including petunias, marigolds, pelargoniums and hydrangeas, will decorate public spaces.
In addition, the entrance group of Building No. 5 was reconstructed at the Pechatniki site and a new elevator was installed for convenient access of guests to the congress center. The renovation of three checkpoints continues - all facilities will be designed in a single architectural style to make entry to the territory of the special economic zone as comfortable as possible.
Earlier, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that the Technopolis Moscow SEZ is Russia's largest special economic zone both in terms of investments and operating areas. More than 2.1 million square meters of modern industrial, public and business space have been built on its territory. By the end of 2025, the total volume of private and budgetary investments in the development of industry in the SEZ amounted to 493 billion rubles.
Moscow is actively developing social infrastructure in industrial areas. Thanks to urban solutions, employees of high-tech enterprises receive not only modern workplaces, but also high-quality public spaces for recreation. This contributes to the development of the national project "Infrastructure for Life".
