The Special Economic Zone of Moscow contributes to the conservation of biodiversity in Russia. Since 2024, as part of her charity, she has been paying for part of the nutrition and maintenance of a rare species of predator from the Moscow Zoo, a red wolf named Ron. During the three years of participation in the project, the amount of financial support amounted to over 2.1 million rubles. This was announced by Gennady Degtev, General Director of Technopolis Moscow SEZ.

"The Museum of Wildlife of the capital is one of the main attractions of the city. On behalf of Sergei Sobyanin, he receives comprehensive support. Since 2024, the SEZ of Moscow has been participating in the Moscow Zoo's custody program, choosing the animal most in need of protection – the red wolf, which is in danger of complete extinction. Financial support in 2026 will amount to 912 thousand rubles, which will help implement environmental protection measures," Gennady Degtev emphasized.

The World Day for the Protection of the Red (Himalayan) Wolf, an endangered species of predatory mammals, is celebrated on May 28. Over the past 50 years, he has not been seen on the territory of Russia, where he previously lived in the south of the Far East. In literature, these animals are known as the "red dogs" from the fairy tale "Mowgli". Ron, a red wolf, lives in the Moscow Zoo and is under the care of the Moscow SEZ. He lives in an aviary with his brothers Fred and George, as well as a female Gel. It is best to observe the animals in the early morning or during feeding hours — the schedule is available on the zoo's website. Two more SEZ companies are members of the "Club of Friends of the Moscow Zoo" – they take care of the Krendel wolverine and the Amur tiger.
