A biotech company operating in the Technopolis Moscow SEZ has registered five new vaccines for animals. This was announced by Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.
"In the SEZ "Technopolis Moscow” today produces medicines that are actively used in veterinary medicine. In 2025, the Moscow manufacturer registered two new vaccines for the prevention of swine diseases and three vaccines for small domestic animals. At the moment, scientists at the company's development center are conducting 12 research projects on new-generation vaccines for industrial animal husbandry," said Maxim Liksutov.
Vetbiochim has been operating in the Technopolis Moscow SEZ since 2023. In 2025, 63 million doses of immunological preparations for agricultural and small domestic animals were produced here. The new vaccines are designed, for example, to combat classical swine fever, adenovirus infections and parvovirus enteritis in dogs.
Recently, the company was visited by over 120 veterinarians from different regions of Russia. The guests were able to visually see the technological processes of production and evaluate the multi-stage quality control system.
Earlier, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that the Technopolis Moscow SEZ is Russia's largest special economic zone both in terms of investments and operating areas. More than 2.1 million square meters of modern industrial, public and business space have been built on its territory. By the end of 2025, the total volume of private and budgetary investments in the development of industry in the SEZ amounted to 493 billion rubles.
Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2026. Over two decades, the project has transformed from a launching pad for innovation into a key hub for the domestic industry. Today, there are already 10 SEZ sites, and their total area is more than 430 hectares. They have localized the production of over 240 high-tech enterprises. They work in such strategic areas as microelectronics, instrumentation, biomedicine, IT and robotics. The number of highly qualified jobs created is 30,000.
Moscow is actively developing high-tech industries. Thanks to the city's solutions, investors receive platforms with tax benefits and can bring innovative drugs to the market. This contributes to the implementation of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy".
