Sobyanin: In 2026, 25 unique production facilities will open in the SEZ of Moscow

In 2026, it is planned to open 25 new unique production facilities on the territory of the Technopolis Moscow special Economic zone (SEZ), which will create over eight thousand jobs. This was announced by Sergei Sobyanin in his channel in the Maks messenger.

So, during this year, the joint-stock company Scientific and Production Center of the Research Institute of Micropribors will begin to produce innovative energy-saving, environmentally friendly lighting devices, Pharmasynthesis—Biocapital LLC — modern cancer drugs, Neoros LLC - optoelectronic devices for high-speed data reception and transmission, and Itelma scientific and production enterprise — printed circuit boards and aircraft interiors.

"Two plants for the production of lithium-ion batteries will also start operating at once. They will be part of Russia's largest and only cluster for the production of electric batteries. Thus, in the coming years we will almost completely cover the demand of the domestic market for these products," Sergei Sobyanin said.

In addition, in 2025, the building of the photomask center was put into operation — Russia's first mass production of critical components for the production of microcircuits.
