Nine innovative prostheses of the Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone (SEZ) resident are included in the register of industrial products of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Russian Federation. It includes four models for the forearm, two each for the shoulder and hand, as well as a prosthetic lower leg. This was announced by Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.

"On behalf of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, the city provides comprehensive support to enterprises in the field of medical technology. The SEZ produces a wide range of products: orthopedic shoes, inclusive clothing, medical simulators, therapeutic nutrition and much more. Nine high-tech prosthetics of the resident were also included in the register of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia. This means that the quality of the products is confirmed at the federal level, and production is as localized as possible in the country. Inclusion in the list gives enterprises advantages when participating in public procurement," Maxim Liksutov said.

The manufacturer of high-tech prostheses is the company "Motorika". She has been a resident of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ since 2023. 3D printing and graphene nanotube silicone are used in the manufacture of bionic prostheses. The company's products are in demand both in Russia and abroad. The company's capacities allow it to produce up to 10,000 units per year.

Andrey Davidyuk, the company's CEO, noted that the inclusion of nine prostheses in the registry is the result of systematic work on an important social task. We are talking about increasing the availability of modern high-tech prostheses. The company has formed one of the widest lines of upper limb prostheses on the market. This allows you to cover the different needs of users and give them more opportunities for an active life.

Earlier, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin said that the Technopolis Moscow SEZ is Russia's largest special economic zone both in terms of investments and operating areas. More than 2.1 million square meters of modern industrial, public and business space have been built on its territory. By the end of 2025, the total volume of private and budgetary investments in the development of industry in the SEZ amounted to 493 billion rubles.

Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2026. Over two decades, the project has transformed from a launching pad for innovative projects into a key hub for the domestic industry and a center of attraction for companies that determine Russia's technological sovereignty. Today, the production of over 240 high-tech enterprises representing such strategic areas as microelectronics, instrumentation, biomedicine, IT and robotics is localized at 10 sites of the SEZ with a total area of more than 430 hectares. The number of highly qualified jobs created is 30,000.

Moscow is actively developing high-tech industries in the field of medical technology. Thanks to urban solutions, enterprises receive support for the production of innovative products. Such events contribute to the development of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy".
