Technopolis Moscow SEZ honored the memory of the heroes of the Great Patriotic War

Commemorative events dedicated to Victory Day were held in the Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone (SEZ). They covered four production sites in the capital, said Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.

"During the Great Patriotic War, the capital's enterprises worked around the clock. During the Battle for Moscow alone, the factories returned a thousand tanks and armored vehicles to service. The Red Army received 87 million shells and mines, assembled by the hands of the capital's workers. Every second submachine gun and every eighth aircraft were manufactured in Moscow. In honor of May 9th in the SEZ “Technopolis Moscow"traditional patriotic actions were held," Maxim Liksutov emphasized.

Employees of the management company and enterprises of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ laid flowers at the mass grave of Soviet soldiers near the Alabushevo site, as well as at the Bayonets memorial complex in Zelenograd. The ceremony was held in Pechatniki together with the Council of veterans of the Leninsky Komsomol Automobile Plant. Flowers and wreaths were brought to the monument by the employees of the enterprise. His central image is a worker going to the front with a rifle in his hand, which symbolizes the feat of factory workers during the war.

Four locations of the SEZ were united by the Special Route campaign. At the venues "Alabushevo", "Pechatniki", "Rudnevo" and "Tolstopaltsevo", employees of the enterprises, together with invited artists, performed songs of the war years.

On May 8, a joint action with the newspaper Komsomolskaya Pravda was held at the Pechatniki site. Each employee was presented with a reprint of the issue dated May 9, 1945 and a St. George ribbon. And until May 9, the "Immortal Regiment" campaign was held in the SEZ of Moscow in an online format. Personal stories and portraits of veterans of the Great Patriotic War from the family archives of employees were broadcast on media screens in public spaces of the special economic zone.
