Technopolis Moscow SEZ has become a new platform for the Music in the Subway project

Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone (SEZ) has joined the Music in the Subway project. Concerts will be held every week at the Pechatniki venue. This was announced by Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.

"The Music in the Subway project is the first cultural format in Russia that has become part of the city's transport system. Since 2016, we have been constantly expanding its geography. Now a special economic zone has been added to the usual platforms — the metro and train stations. This event was timed to coincide with two anniversaries: the 20th anniversary of the SEZ “Technopolis Moscow” and the 10th anniversary of the "Music in the Subway" project. We are making cultural leisure even more accessible to residents and guests of the capital in accordance with the instructions of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin," Maxim Liksutov said.

The first concert at the new venue was held on May 4. Vocalists and instrumentalists performed in front of employees of enterprises and guests of the SEZ.

Since its launch in 2016, the Music in the Subway project has grown significantly. The number of artists participating in it has increased by more than 10 times — to 400 vocalists and instrumentalists. Performances take place in the metro, on the territory of the Moscow Central Diameters, at the Northern and Southern River Stations, at the Severnye Vorota bus station and in the Moscow Transport pavilion.

Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2026. Over two decades, the project has transformed from a launching pad for innovation into a key hub for the domestic industry. Today, there are already 10 sites, and their total area is more than 430 hectares. The production of over 240 high-tech enterprises is localized there. They work in such strategic areas as microelectronics, instrumentation, biomedicine, IT and robotics. The number of highly qualified jobs created is 30,000.
