More than 50 employees of Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone (SEZ) companies were awarded for their contribution to the development of high-tech enterprises on the eve of May 1. Certificates of honor were awarded to employees who help the capital produce modern medicines, medical devices, microelectronics, software, robotic systems and composite materials. This was announced by Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.
"Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone is a driver of the modern metropolitan industry. More than 240 enterprises are concentrated here, and over 30,000 jobs have been created. For the fourth year in a row, on the eve of the Spring and Labor Holiday, award ceremonies for the most effective and conscientious employees are held at the SEZ sites. More than 50 people were awarded certificates of honor. On behalf of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, the city continues to systematically support high—tech industries," said Maxim Liksutov.
For example, Timofey Chibrikin, a leading engineer at the Special Design and Technological Bureau of Applied Robotics, was awarded a certificate of honor for the creation of the Rusak firefighter robot. The installation is capable of supplying fire extinguishing agent at a distance of 60 meters and remotely operating over a radio channel at a range of up to one kilometer. The robot is equipped with television cameras, a thermal imager, as well as chemical and radiation reconnaissance devices with online transmission of information to the control post.
Angelika Khairiddinova, a leading analytical engineer at the physico-chemical analytical laboratory of the Department of Nano- and Microelectronic Industries at NIIME, was awarded for the organization and execution of work for the certification of 10 reagent control methods for measuring plate contamination.
Another letter of thanks was presented to Egor Batrachenko, foreman of the cutting shop, from the Nanotechnology Center for Composites company, which produces products made of high-tech composite materials. The specialist has developed unique cutting schemes that have made it possible to reduce material waste and significantly increase the economic efficiency of the site.
Technopolis Moscow SEZ celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2026. Over two decades, the project has transformed from a launching pad for innovative projects into a key hub for the domestic industry. Today, high-tech enterprises in the fields of microelectronics, instrumentation, biomedicine, IT and robotics operate at 10 sites with a total area of more than 430 hectares.
The capital is developing sites for high-tech enterprises. Thanks to urban solutions, companies receive benefits and create modern jobs. This contributes to the development of the national Cadres project, which aims to train specialists and provide the country's economy with qualified staff.
