Moscow is a city of great opportunities for professional development

The new center for practical training "Professions of the Future" in Pechatniki will produce up to 15,000 qualified specialists per year. After completing the training, the career mentors of the city employment service will arrange an interview with a potential employer. The center's partners include more than three thousand companies, and the database contains over 500,000 current vacancies.

"Moscow is a city of great opportunities for professional development and successful employment. Continuing professional education has become a trend of the 21st century. Due to the transformation of the economy and the labor market, changing a specialty several times during a lifetime is becoming the norm, so the demand for short training programs is growing. In response to these changes, we are constantly looking for new strategies and approaches to training and retraining specialists," Sergei Sobyanin wrote on his channel in the Maks messenger.

The Center for practical Training "Professions of the Future" was opened on the territory of the Technopolis Moscow special economic zone in September 2025 at 42 Volgogradsky Prospekt, building 8. This unique platform is based on training on equipment identical to real production facilities and classes with master mentors.

Here, adult citizens can master modern specialties, gain in—demand skills or upgrade their qualifications in a maximum of three months, and students can complete an internship. The high-tech infrastructure of the Professions of the Future practical training center has no analogues in Russia: more than five thousand pieces of machinery and equipment are located on four floors with an area of over nine thousand square meters.

The training is conducted in 75 sought-after professions. In fact, the economy of a modern city is modeled here: 35 workshops cover key industries and allow you to train specialists who can take up their duties immediately after graduation. All educational programs are practice-oriented, developed with the participation of leading employers in Moscow, and classes are taught by highly qualified master mentors with ten years of experience in real sectors of the economy.

The new center unites the interests of all participants in the labor market. For adult applicants, studying at Printers means finding employment through a network of partners and a 50 percent increase in income. For college students, this is an advantage at the beginning of their career due to practice on employers' equipment. For employers, it means fast training of existing staff and access to ready—made specialists who have practical competencies that fully meet market demands.

In 2025, the comprehensive career guidance program for ninth graders continued on the basis of the Future Professions Center in partnership with Moscow colleges.

Moscow is a city of extensive opportunities for professional development, training, and successful employment with one of the largest and most diversified labor markets in the world. Continuing professional education has become a trend of the 21st century. The economy is changing rapidly, and the market is transforming after it: now changing jobs three or four times in a lifetime is the norm, not the exception. People are looking for short and effective ways to a successful career, and the demand for training that gives quick results is only growing.
