In the Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone (SEZ), 40 children under the age of 12 were trained under the Technoprofession program. During the spring break, the students got acquainted with the device of various devices and conducted experiments in chemistry and physics at the Pechatniki and Alabushevo sites. This was announced by Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.

"On behalf of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, the city pays special attention to additional children's education. SEZ companies “Technopolis Moscow” opens its doors to novice researchers. So, as part of the spring intensive, children under the age of 12 could take a young engineer course. They attended master classes in engineering and technical creativity and natural sciences. The students studied physics and chemistry, conducted research and experiments," Maxim Liksutov said.

The five-day intensive course included 24 classes in the experimental format. The program was developed jointly with a resident of the SEZ of Moscow, the Scientific Entertainment company, which specializes in the production of digital educational kits.

The young researchers worked with the Leeuwenhoek's World microscope, studied the properties of sound, light, temperature, and electricity in the Academy of Naurashi multimedia laboratory, and conducted chemistry experiments using a digital laboratory. The students mastered the mechanics of motion with the Galileo Mechanics constructor and solved logical problems using the Criminologist's Briefcase kit.

In addition, the children were engaged in project activities, learned how to defend their ideas in front of an audience at a mock scientific conference, and competed in business games. In total, they got acquainted with 10 technical professions during the holidays. To maintain a balance between mental stress and rest, the organizers have provided sports breaks. Football, tennis and general physical training sessions for the children were conducted by leading specialists of the Arena Play Technopolis sports cluster.

A new cycle of classes for the Young Engineer project is planned for the summer holidays. Parents can submit a request for participation on the website.

Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2026. Over two decades, the project has grown from a launching pad for innovation to a key hub of the domestic industry. Today, more than 240 high-tech enterprises operate on 10 sites of the SEZ with a total area of more than 430 hectares. They are developing microelectronics, instrumentation, biomedicine, IT, and robotics. Residents have already created 30,000 highly qualified jobs.

Conducting career guidance events for students in the capital contributes to the development of children's talents and the formation of skills that will be useful to them in their future profession, and corresponds to the objectives of the Professionalism project of the national Youth and Children project
