The production of hospital and medical compression knitwear has been launched in the Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone (SEZ). The company will be able to produce up to 360 thousand products annually. This was announced by Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.
"On behalf of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, the city systematically helps the medical industry. The capital's special economic zone is creating emergency equipment, artificial lung ventilation devices, ultrasound diagnostic devices, and much more. Recently, the production of compression knitwear was launched here. The amount of investments amounted to more than 250 million rubles," Maxim Liksutov said.
The project was implemented, among other things, thanks to the Moscow Foundation for the Support of Industry and Entrepreneurship. He provided preferential financing with compensation of the interest rate on the investment loan.
The production facilities of Elastik Technologies are located on an area of more than 1.3 thousand square meters. The production lines consist of highly automated high-speed knitting machines, auxiliary and laboratory equipment.
Anzor Boriev, the company's CEO, noted that the company's special feature is the use of unique knitting technology and special materials. This makes it possible to produce medical devices with a given graduated compression. In the future, the company plans to expand the range and launch the production of bandages and orthoses. The products will replace medical compression products that were supplied from Germany, Switzerland, Italy, as well as Turkey and China.
Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2026. Over two decades, the project has transformed from a launching pad for innovation into a key hub for the domestic industry. Today, the production of over 240 high-tech enterprises is localized at 10 sites with a total area of more than 430 hectares. They work in such strategic areas as microelectronics, instrumentation, biomedicine, IT and robotics. The number of highly qualified jobs created is 30,000.
Moscow is actively developing industrial complexes and enterprises. The city's support allows them to increase production efficiency and develop human resources. The events taking place within this framework contribute to the implementation of the national project "Means of production and Automation".
