Zumba, yoga and mini football: what sports activities take place in the Technopolis Moscow SEZ

More than a thousand citizens use the sports infrastructure of the Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone (SEZ) every day. Modern fitness centers and gyms operate at the Alabushevo and Rudnevo sites. This was announced by Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.

"On behalf of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, we continue to create SEZ "Technopolis Moscow” a modern ecosystem for work and life. Special attention is paid to social and sports infrastructure. Last year, fitness centers were opened at the Alabushevo and Rudnevo sites, which today are visited by over a thousand people daily. In addition, zumba, yoga, table tennis and chess classes are held for active sports enthusiasts," Maxim Liksutov said.

For example, the Arena Play Technopolis sports complex at the Alabushevo site has ice arenas, a soccer field with artificial turf, padel tennis and squash courts, as well as a gym and choreography rooms, a medical unit and a cafe. For convenience, three bus routes have been launched from Zelenograd — No. 3, 24 and 27.

In addition, a summer mini-football tournament has been held in the SEZ since 2023. A special field was built for him at the Alabushevo site and outdoor simulators were installed.

A fitness center was opened in the Rudnevo Industrial Park in December 2025. There is a martial arts area, a children's room and a cafe.

For the second winter in a row, ice rinks were operating at the Pechatniki site and for the first time in the Rudnevo Industrial Park. In two seasons, they were visited by more than 66 thousand residents and guests of the capital.

Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2026. Over two decades, the project has transformed from a launching pad for innovative projects into a key hub for the domestic industry and a center of attraction for companies that determine Russia's technological sovereignty. Today, the production of over 240 high-tech enterprises representing such strategic areas as microelectronics, instrument engineering, pharmaceuticals, electric vehicles and robotics is localized at 10 sites of the SEZ with a total area of 392 hectares. The number of highly qualified jobs created is 30,000.

Moscow is actively developing sports infrastructure for SEZ employees. The support of the city allows you to create comfortable conditions for work and health. This contributes to the implementation of the national project "Sport of Russia".
