The Motorika ORTHO company, which is a resident of the Technopolis Moscow special economic zone, has implemented the transfer of an individual traction finger prosthesis to a 10-year-old resident of Krasnogorsk, Moscow Region, who was injured in an accident. For the family, this event has become a significant stage in the process of rehabilitation and restoration of the functionality of the child's upper limb. Within the framework of the project, the specialists of the company "Motorika ORTHO" provided comprehensive patient support, including preliminary consultations; assistance in completing the necessary documentation; performing a full cycle of prosthetics: individual measurements, design and manufacture of the product. The prosthesis given to the teenager belongs to the category of mechanical traction devices. The principle of its operation is based on the transfer of force from the sustained movements of the hand and wrist joint to the working elements of the structure. The specified mechanism allows you to: - partially restore the function of grabbing and holding objects; - perform basic household operations. The prosthesis has a modular design adapted to the age-specific anatomical features of the user, and provides for the possibility of subsequent modification as the child grows. Andrey Davidyuk, Chairman of the Board of Directors of JSC Motorika Group, notes the following:: "The use of digital technologies makes it possible to optimize the production cycle: the full production cycle of a traction prosthesis takes about two weeks on average, and installation and initial setup take one or two days. This methodology increases the efficiency of specialists, reduces waiting times for the end user and provides the possibility of remote interaction at individual stages. For the boy, this meant the opportunity to receive a functional and ergonomic prosthesis as soon as possible, which is a critical factor for successful rehabilitation and social adaptation." This case demonstrates the potential of modern prosthetics technologies as an effective tool for improving the quality of life and social integration of people with disabilities.
