A resident of the Technopolis Moscow Special Economic zone (SEZ) has received a registration certificate from the Republic of Belarus for a medical device — a container with automatic heating for infusion solutions. Now it will be able to be purchased and used by medical institutions in the country. This was announced by Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry. "On behalf of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, the city supports the capital's entrepreneurs who export their products to international markets. One of the most effective tools is the placement of the enterprise in the special economic zone of the capital, where a wide range of tax benefits and preferences apply to residents. The products produced on the site automatically acquire the status of goods of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), which gives the right to import them into the territory of the EAEU countries without paying customs duties," Maxim Liksutov said. Medplant company specializes in the production of products for emergency care of patients. The company has developed and launched mass production of 45 medical devices, 14 of which are used in equipping ambulances throughout the country. With the support of the city, the manufacturer is increasing its presence in the CIS market. An immobilization spinal shield developed by the resident, a head retainer for transporting patients with injuries, a portable syringe dispenser, a hemostatic tourniquet, a Travois stretcher, mechanical and electric aspirators are used by the ambulance and medical services of the Republic of Belarus, as well as Kazakhstan and Kyrgyzstan. In total, during its work in the SEZ, the company's export revenue exceeded 70 million rubles. Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2026. During this time, the project has transformed from a launching pad for innovative projects into a key hub of the domestic industry and a center of attraction for companies that determine Russia's technological sovereignty. Today, the production of more than 240 high-tech enterprises is localized at 10 sites with a total area of 392 hectares. They represent such strategic areas as microelectronics, instrumentation, biomedicine, IT and robotics. 30,000 highly qualified jobs have been created here. The government actively helps Moscow exporters. Thus, the national project "International Cooperation and Export" provides a range of information, financial, insurance and logistical support measures. The My Export digital platform is also operating as part of the national project: it provides free expert advice, analytics, assistance in promoting products on international marketplaces, online training, and more.
