Technopolis Moscow, a resident of the special economic zone (SEZ), released 334 inspection complexes with artificial intelligence (AI) in 2025. The manufacturer has improved the neural network, expanding the database for recognition by more than 1.5 times — up to 8.5 million positions. This was announced by Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry. "On behalf of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, we pay special attention to the safety of urban transport. About 8 million trips are made in the Moscow metro every day. This is one of the most reliable and comfortable modes of transport. Passenger safety is guaranteed, among other things, by inspection equipment. Today, devices manufactured by a resident of the Moscow SEZ are used in the metro. During its work in the special economic zone, the company has produced innovative products worth 9.2 billion rubles," said Maxim Liksutov. The Diagnostic-M inspection introscope is an X-ray television system for scanning cargo and baggage. Since 2024, the company has been equipping all new-generation devices with its own AI system. The company has produced more than 600 inspection units with an AI system. New-generation introscopes are operating in the Moscow City Duma, the Moscow Multidisciplinary Scientific and Clinical Center named after S.P. Botkin, the METMASH Film Factory, as well as at river piers near Gorky Park and the Kolomenskoye Museum-Reserve, the Krasnogvardeisky bus station and facilities of the Moscow Patriarchate. The Moscow Metro and Russian Railways have the largest fleets of such devices. Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2026. During this time, the project has transformed from a launching pad for innovative projects into a key hub of the domestic industry and a center of attraction for companies that determine Russia's technological sovereignty. Today, the production of more than 240 high-tech enterprises is localized at 10 sites with a total area of 392 hectares. They represent such strategic areas as microelectronics, instrumentation, biomedicine, IT and robotics. 30,000 highly qualified jobs have been created here. Moscow is actively developing industrial complexes and enterprises related to the transport system. The city's support allows them to increase production efficiency and develop human resources. This contributes to the implementation of the national project "Production of transport".
