The Innovation Assistance Fund and Technopolis Moscow SEZ strengthen cooperation in support of high-tech industries

The delegation of the Innovation Promotion Foundation, led by CEO Andrey Zhizhin and his deputy Ekaterina Tsigvintseva, visited the Pechatniki site of the Technopolis Moscow special economic zone. During the visit, representatives of the Fund got acquainted with the activities of key resident companies, discussed current measures to support innovative enterprises and met with the management of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ.

The delegation inspected the production facilities of three resident companies. Among them are Technorad, specializing in the development of robotic systems and software; Acrus Biomed, which creates high—tech medicines, as well as Akademiya-T, the winner of the Foundation's programs, which produces sports and therapeutic nutrition. Each of these enterprises is an example of the successful implementation of innovative projects with the support of the Fund and the SEZ.

The key event of the visit was the participation of Andrey Zhizhin and Ekaterina Tsigvintseva in the meeting of the resident club. Representatives of the Foundation spoke about current measures to support innovative enterprises, as well as about the Foundation's work as an Expertise Center for small technology companies. Special attention was paid to the current competitive selections: "Start-2", "Business Start" and "Development-Machine Tool Industry", which allow young companies to receive financing for the implementation of their projects.

During the working meeting, Andrey Zhizhin and Gennady Degtev, CEO of Technopolis Moscow SEZ, discussed the prospects for further cooperation and the role of joint programs in the development of the capital's innovation ecosystem.

"Moscow has an advanced infrastructure that creates all the opportunities for accelerated growth of innovative companies. Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone is one of such platforms where our resident grantees not only develop promising solutions, but also successfully test them and then bring them to the market. The Foundation fruitfully cooperates with the Technopolis Moscow SEZ, which contributes to the development of the capital and the all–Russian economy," said Andrey Zhizhin, CEO of the Innovation Assistance Foundation.

The Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone, in cooperation with the Innovation Assistance Fund, helps attract extra-budgetary co-financing for the implementation of high-tech projects important for the country's economy and the city. Over the past few years, the Fund has supported 12 applications from residents of the SEZ of the capital in the amount of over 344 million rubles. Grants from the Innovation Assistance Fund allow high–tech companies to grow intensively, optimize the processes of development, commercialization and scaling of production, accelerate the pace of production of original and import-substituting products," said Gennady Degtev, CEO of Technopolis Moscow SEZ.

The visit of the Foundation's delegation to the Pechatniki site confirmed the high level of cooperation between the development institute and the special economic zone. Joint efforts are aimed at creating favorable conditions for innovative companies, which ultimately contributes to strengthening the technological sovereignty and economic potential of Moscow and the country as a whole
