The uniqueness of the neural network accelerator developed by the Technopolis Moscow SEZ resident has been recognized internationally

The status of a resident of the SEZ of Moscow was awarded to the company "Hi-Tech", it created and launched the first domestic neural network accelerator, which has no analogues due to its own microprocessor architecture. In 2025, the microchip was included by the Ministry of Industry and Trade in the register of Russian industrial products and confirmed its uniqueness at the international level. The development opens up new opportunities for the development of domestic technologies in all areas where artificial intelligence is used. This was announced by Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.

"According to the task of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, the city provides systematic support to companies that contribute to the development of domestic information technologies. Thus, a new resident of the Moscow SEZ has developed a microchip and a line of the first Russian AI accelerators based on it. There are no third-party intellectual components in the microchip, which corresponds to the national policy of technological sovereignty. The uniqueness of the development has been confirmed at the global level – the microprocessor has recently received an international patent for a period of 20 years," said Maxim Liksutov.

The solutions created by the Moscow SEZ company provide unprecedented computing power for the Russian market when working with artificial intelligence and heavy neural networks in real time. For example, the resident's AI accelerator has a record performance of 960 trillion (TOPS) operations per second for the Russian market, which is comparable to the world's leading counterparts. It supports the simultaneous launch of more than 100 neural networks, which is especially important for high-load data centers. Domestic HIGHTECH accelerators contribute to the development of AI technologies in medicine (CT, MRI, X-ray imaging, DNA decoding, telemedicine), robotics (coordination of robosystems, computer vision), autonomous transport, on-board computers, and security systems.

Currently, the company's specialists are conducting further scientific and technological research in the field of optimizing and improving the performance of domestic microchips for artificial intelligence. KHAYTEK's developments will be supported by the status of a resident of the Moscow SEZ: it provides for a number of tax benefits and preferences, which will allow the company to invest more in its development.

Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2026. Over two decades, the project has transformed from a launching pad for innovative projects into a key hub for the domestic industry and a center of attraction for companies that determine Russia's technological sovereignty. Today, the production of more than 200 high-tech enterprises representing such strategic areas as microelectronics, instrumentation, biomedicine, IT and robotics is localized at 10 sites of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ with a total area of 392 hectares. The number of highly qualified jobs created is 30,000.

Moscow is actively developing the investment climate and industrial potential of the capital: thanks to urban solutions, labor productivity and production efficiency are increasing. The events taking place within this framework contribute to the development of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy".
