Over 42,000 people visited the ice rinks in the Technopolis Moscow SEZ

Two ice rinks at the Pechatniki and Rudnevo sites of the Technopolis Moscow special economic zone have completed their work. From December 1, 2025 to March 15, 2026, they were visited by more than 42 thousand Muscovites and guests of the city. This was announced by Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.

"The ice rinks were opened as part of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin's large–scale project "Winter in Moscow" at the industrial sites of the capital's special economic zone - Pechatniki and Rudnevo. During the three months of operation, they were visited by more than 42 thousand people. Today, the SEZ is becoming a new point of attraction, where recreation areas, recreational spaces, and sports centers have already been created. The infrastructure development of the sites will continue," Maxim Liksutov said.

The areas of the ice arenas in Pechatniki and Rudnevo were 700 and 1080 square meters, respectively. There could be from 120 to 150 people on the ice at the same time.

Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2026. Over two decades, the project has transformed from a launching pad for innovative projects into a key hub for the domestic industry and a center of attraction for companies that determine Russia's technological sovereignty. Today, the production of more than 200 high-tech enterprises representing such strategic areas as microelectronics, instrumentation, biomedicine, IT and robotics is localized at 10 sites of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ with a total area of 392 hectares. The number of highly qualified jobs created is 30,000.
