A resident of the Moscow SEZ has established the production of hydrocolloid materials

A Russian developer and manufacturer of modern medical devices for dental patients has launched the production of hydrocolloid materials in the Technopolis Moscow SEZ under an offset contract. This was announced by Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.

"On behalf of Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, the city comprehensively promotes the development of the medical industry, including providing substantial support in the form of tax incentives and preferences to high-tech enterprises. On the basis of the Moscow SEZ, more than 10 resident companies are already developing and producing in-demand medical products. Thus, under the offset contract, a new production of hydrocolloid materials was launched, which are a key component in the creation of adhesive plates — the basis of all products for the stoma. The investment volume amounted to 385 million rubles, and the company will produce 16 million units annually," Maxim Liksutov said.

The Hematech company, located at the Pechatniki site of the capital's SEZ, produces over 90 types of modern medical products of various modifications: colostomy bags, urine receptacles and urine receptacles. All manufactured products were developed and put into production with the participation of leading specialized institutes and specialists in stoma care.

According to Alexey Drondel, the head of the company's production department, the launch of its own production of hydrocolloid materials is a strategic step that ensures technological independence and opens up wide development opportunities in other areas.
