KMZ elevators are among the key solutions for new industrial sites in the capital

The facilities of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ, which are being built by Promstroy, a company subordinate to the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy, are equipped with products from Russian manufacturers. Special attention is paid to high-quality elevator equipment. This was announced by Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.

A significant part of the elevator industry consists of equipment from the Karacharovsky Mechanical Plant (KMZ), one of the key domestic manufacturers of elevators.

"On behalf of Sergei Sobyanin, when creating new industrial and administrative facilities, the capital pays special attention to the use of reliable solutions from Russian manufacturers. The elevators of the Karacharovsky Mechanical Plant have already been installed in the industrial buildings and the administrative building of the Rudnevo Industrial Park, as well as at the Rudnevo 7 site, where the equipment is used to move between the floors of the data processing center and the production of microelectronics. In addition, KMZ elevators are used in the office and production complex at the Pechatniki site and will be installed at the plant for the production of lithium-ion batteries in Krasnaya Pakhra," Maxim Liksutov added.

The use of domestic elevators at new industrial facilities makes it possible to form stable supply chains, increase the reliability of engineering systems and provide convenience for employees and residents during the operation of buildings.

Over 33 units of freight and passenger elevators manufactured by the Karacharovsky Mechanical Plant have been installed at Promstroy facilities. For example, in the data processing and microelectronics production center of the Rudnevo Industrial Park, the installation of passenger elevators has already been completed. There are four elevators designed for seven floors with a lifting capacity of up to 1,000 kilograms.

Work on the installation of elevator equipment has started in the industrial complex (Rudnevo, k3) of the Rudnevo Industrial Park. The elevators reach a speed of 1.6 meters per second and have a lifting capacity of 600 kilograms.

"The high-tech elevator equipment of the Karacharovsky Mechanical Plant is actively used for residential apartment buildings, as well as for office buildings and industrial complexes. We actively cooperate with residents of the Technopolis Moscow special economic zone. On the territory of the office and production complex of the Pechatniki site, 18 high-speed elevators manufactured by the Karacharovsky Mechanical Plant are being installed. The 14 lifting devices can reach speeds of up to 2.5 meters per second and have lifting capacities of 1,275 and 1,600 kilograms. Four elevators can also reach speeds of up to four meters per second. With a lifting capacity of 1,275 kilograms, each elevator will be able to carry up to 17 people at a time," said Dmitry Sidelkovsky, General Director of the Karacharovsky Mechanical Plant.

High-speed elevators have an increased doorway height of up to 2.2 meters and a wider cabin to ensure comfortable movement of passengers.
