26 customs control zones have been created in the Technopolis Moscow SEZ

There are 26 customs control zones in the Technopolis Moscow special economic zone, two of them were created in 2025 at the Alabushevo and Krasnaya Pakhra sites. This was announced by Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.

"On behalf of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, the city provides substantial support to high-tech enterprises. The use of the free customs zone (FTZ) regime by residents of the capital's SEZ exempts them from duties and VAT on the import of equipment, components, and raw materials. The benefits make it possible to reduce the financial burden on launching new production facilities, expanding and modernizing existing enterprises. There are 26 customs control zones in the capital's preferential territory, which has already allowed companies to save about 9 billion rubles," Maxim Liksutov said.

Last year, two new customs control zones were created. At the Alabushevo site, a manufacturer of intelligent control and measuring devices that will be in demand in the pharmaceutical, extractive, oil and gas, chemical, and energy industries took advantage of this support measure. In Krasnaya Pakhra, the STP procedure was applied by a resident who is building a plant for the production of cells, modules and stationary energy storage systems.

Customs control zones have also been established at enterprises specializing in the production of composite and medical products, microelectronic products, and rope transport systems.
