The capital's resident company Technopolis Moscow special economic zone helped to reconstruct one of the important regional bridges in the Astrakhan region. The Nanotechnology Center for Composites has installed walking bridges made of composite materials for the 259-meter crossing — they serve for safe access of technical personnel to key structural elements. This was announced by Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.

"Technopolis Moscow, a resident of the special economic zone, participates in federal and regional projects related to the construction and reconstruction of infrastructure facilities. The company produces products made of modern composite materials, which are a universal replacement for metal analogues. Thus, for the first time in the Astrakhan region, fiberglass running bridges were used during the reconstruction of the bridge — a new product in the resident's line. The products of the company, whose production is located at the Pechatniki site, are in high demand on the market. During his activity in the SEZ of Moscow, the resident's revenue exceeded 11.5 billion rubles," Maxim Liksutov noted.

NCK products are used in the repair of bridge structures and overpasses in all regions of Russia. Drainage trays and railings made of composite materials, which successfully replace traditional metal analogues due to their lightness and durability, are in the greatest demand. So, in the summer of 2025, major repairs of the bridge over the Chernaya River were completed in Kurgan using the resident's products, and the bridge over the Sura River was equipped with railings and drainage channels in the Penza Region. In Chuvashia, during the repair of the Gagarin Bridge in Cheboksary, more than 800 meters of drainage channels were installed. A year earlier, composite railings of the NCC were used at the complex of flood defenses in St. Petersburg. In Moscow, more than 18 km of railings and trays of the NCC have been installed on the section of the Central Ring Road - TSKAD-1, and another 9 km of railings and trays – on the section of TsKAD-3.

Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2026. Over two decades, the project has transformed from a launching pad for innovative projects into a key hub for the domestic industry and a center of attraction for companies that determine Russia's technological sovereignty. Today, the production of more than 200 high-tech enterprises representing such strategic areas as microelectronics, instrumentation, biomedicine, IT and robotics is localized at 10 sites of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ with a total area of 392 hectares. The number of highly qualified jobs created is 30,000.

Moscow is actively developing the investment climate and industrial potential of the capital: thanks to urban solutions, labor productivity and production efficiency are increasing. The events taking place within this framework contribute to the development of the national project "Efficient and Competitive Economy".
