The chess team of Technopolis Moscow SEZ won medals at the first stage of the Cup of Russia

The chess team of the Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone has made a successful start to the new season, winning gold and silver medals at the prestigious All-Russian tournament. The first stage of the Russian Blitz Cup among club teams "Game of Kings" in 2026, held at the Central House of Chess named after M. Botvinnik, ended with the triumph of the team.

In a hard-fought battle with the country's strongest teams, the Techno team took first place in the "Amateur" category and second place in the overall standings among 14 teams. This result was a vivid declaration of the team's ambitions for the upcoming chess year, emphasizing the high level of preparation and team spirit.

Denis Khomich, a member of the TECHNO Team, shared his impressions of the victory:

"It was a good, strong game. We showed a high level, and the victory in the amateur competition is fully deserved. Last season we won silver in the championship, and now we see this as just a step to new heights."
