The companies of the Moscow special economic zone will invest 2.2 times more funds in the development of production facilities by 2030 compared to current figures. This was announced by Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.
"On behalf of Sergei Sobyanin, we are creating a favorable investment climate for industry in the city. With the assistance of the Moscow Government, companies from the Technopolis Moscow SEZ have already invested about 287 billion rubles in improving production facilities. In four years, this figure will increase 2.2 times and reach 630 billion rubles. This will significantly expand the industrial capabilities of the city and increase the shipment of critical products for the needs of residents of the capital and other cities of the country," Maxim Liksutov said.
The Technopolis Moscow SEZ sites are actively developing. Here, the city forms a unique ecosystem in which companies and their employees will be comfortable creating new technologies of the future. For example, last year a sports complex was opened at the Alabushevo site, and in the Rudnevo Industrial Park there was an open veranda on the stylobate of one of the buildings of the site. Transport accessibility of the sites is also constantly being improved in the Technopolis Moscow SEZ.
In addition to infrastructure, companies with the status of residents of the special economic zone are exempt from paying property, transport and land taxes for a period of 10 years. The income tax rate for them has been reduced 12.5 times to two percent. Currently, 128 residents work in the SEZ of Moscow, which produce pharmaceutical products, medical goods and equipment, industrial robots and machine tools, new materials, batteries and other innovative products.
Earlier, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin reported to Vladimir Putin on the development of the capital by the end of 2025. According to him, by 2030, the share of high-tech sectors in the revenue of enterprises whose production facilities are located in Moscow will grow from the current 38% to more than 50%. The work of innovative companies in the capital's SEZ will also contribute to achieving these indicators.
