The ELTA plant, launched at the end of 2024, increases the supply of high-tech medical products to the Russian market. By the end of 2025, the company has produced over ten million medical devices. This was announced by Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.
"On behalf of Sergei Sobyanin, the city actively promotes the development of the capital's industry. Thanks to a set of effective urban support measures in the SEZ “Technopolis Moscow is successfully developing the production of high-tech medical devices and medical equipment. By the end of 2025, the company has produced about 600,000 glucose meters and 10 million packages of test strips for them. The company's portfolio of developments includes five models of glucose meters, a needle pen and a device for determining the percentage of glycohemoglobin in the blood," said Maxim Liksutov.
One of the flagship products of the company "ELTA" is a "smart" glucose meter with the function of transferring data to a smartphone. In addition, the company has created a special mobile application through which the patient sends monitoring data to the doctor.
Currently, more than 240 high-tech companies are located on the territory of the Moscow SEZ, of which 128 enterprises are residents. Companies produce high-tech products in the Technopolis Moscow SEZ. It produces modern medicines, medical products, microelectronics, machine tools, robotics, elevators, batteries, innovative products for the space industry, components for electric vehicles and new materials.
