With the help of customs privileges, companies from the special economic zone of the capital have saved more than 3.2 billion rubles. This was announced by Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.
"On behalf of Sergei Sobyanin, the city provides substantial support to high-tech enterprises, which makes it possible to effectively develop production facilities. Thanks to customs privileges, residents of the Technopolis Moscow special economic zone have saved over 3.2 billion rubles in the first nine months of 2025," Maxim Liksutov said.
Over the entire period of activity, residents have received over 5.4 billion rubles in the form of customs preferences. The application of the free customs zone regime significantly reduces the financial burden both in the creation of new production facilities and in the expansion or modernization of existing enterprises. Thanks to this, companies can increase the volume of production of critical products for the needs of the city and the country.
For reference:
Obtaining resident status also allows businesses to be exempt from paying taxes on property, land and transport for ten years, and the income tax rate is 2 percent instead of 25.
