The number of residents of the Technopolis Moscow SEZ has increased 3.4 times since 2016

The Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone (SEZ) was transferred to the jurisdiction of the capital in September 2016. Since then, the number of companies with resident status has more than tripled. This was announced by Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.

"The capital's SEZ was taken over by the city almost 10 years ago. During this time, the Moscow Government has implemented unique projects to open modern production facilities, create industrial infrastructure and connect new sites, and the number of high-tech resident enterprises has increased 3.4 times. Now in the SEZ “Technopolis Moscow has 128 such companies," Maxim Liksutov said.

High-tech industrial and public-business infrastructure facilities with a total area of more than two million square meters have been created in the SEZ. There are over 240 companies operating there, with more than 30,000 jobs.

Earlier, Sergei Sobyanin spoke about the achievements of the capital's SEZ and congratulated on its 20th anniversary.
