Over 11,000 people visited the two skating rinks at the Pechatniki and Rudnevo sites of the Technopolis Moscow special economic zone during the New Year holidays, and since the beginning of December, almost 25,000 Muscovites and guests of the city have visited. This was announced by Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.
"As part of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin's large—scale project "Winter in Moscow", ice rinks are operating at two industrial sites of the capital's SEZ — Pechatniki and Rudnevo. They have become centers of attraction for employees of enterprises, Muscovites and visitors to the city. Over 11,000 people came to skate during the New Year holidays, and almost 25,000 since the opening of the arenas," said Maxim Liksutov.
The areas of the ice arenas in Pechatniki and Rudnevo are 700 and 1080 square meters, respectively. There can be from 120 to 150 people on the ice at the same time.
The skating rinks are open daily: at the Pechatniki site — from 11:00 to 23:00, in the Rudnevo Industrial Park — from 10:00 to 22:00. Visitors can rent equipment and "figure skater assistants" for young guests, as well as sharpen skates. There are food trucks in the immediate vicinity of the skating rinks, where you can buy hot drinks and food.
You can sign up for a session and learn about upcoming events on the websites of the Rudnevo Industrial Park and the Pechatniki site. The skating rinks are located at 42 Volgogradsky Prospekt, Moscow (Pechatniki) and 14A Sochinskaya St., Moscow (Rudnevo Industrial Park).
