In the first nine months of 2025, thanks to the support of the city, residents of the Technopolis Moscow special economic zone saved 8.8 billion rubles on taxes and contributions. This was announced by Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.
"On behalf of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, we are creating all conditions for the development of the capital's industry. The city's support measures allowed companies with SEZ resident status “Technopolis Moscow” will save 8.8 billion rubles on taxes and contributions from January to September. This is 56% more than in the same period last year. The saved funds allow enterprises to actively expand production in Moscow," said Maxim Liksutov.
Modernization of industrial facilities also contributes to an increase in the number of high-paying jobs. Currently, more than 30 thousand people work in the capital's SEZ.

Obtaining resident status allows enterprises to be exempt from paying taxes on property, land and transport for ten years, and the income tax rate is two percent instead of 25. Residents are also exempt from paying customs duties and VAT when importing goods and equipment under the procedure of a free customs zone.
