A resident company of the Moscow Special Economic Zone (SEZ) has supplied 3.7 million units of medical products to the city's healthcare institutions

In 2025, the resident of the special economic zone «Technopolis Moscow» delivered to medical institutions 3.7 million units of products for patients with chronic diseases. This was reported by the deputy mayor of Moscow for transport and industry Maxim Likossutov.

Development of the medical industry is a key task for the capital’s industry within the framework of the mandate of the Mayor of Moscow, Sergei Sobyanin. The continued provision of life-saving medical products to patients, improved localization and import substitution are promoted by contracts with guaranteed distribution. So, the resident of the OECD in Moscow in 2025 delivered to the city’s medical institutions 3.7 million units of products for patients with chronic diseases,» - said Maxim Likossutov.

The «GematTeh» enterprise, located on the «Printmakers» site, produces more than 90 types of modern medical products of various modifications - dental appliances, orthopaedic appliances and urinary appliances, which are not inferior to foreign analogues. They were developed with the participation of leading medical institutions and specialists.

An offset contract for the creation of modern high-tech medical products based on the capital’s OECD was concluded with the Department of Health of the city of Moscow in 2019. Since January 2022, «GemateThe» has been supplying its products to the health institutions of the capital.

Previously, Sergei Sobyanin during the report to the deputies of the Moscow City Duma on the results of the activities of the Government of Moscow for 2025 noted that the medical industry is actively developing in the capital, and also drew attention to the advantages of offset contracts.
