A new production facility for veterinary drugs will open in the Moscow Technopolis Special Economic Zone (SEZ)

The manufacturer of medicines for animals, VIC-Pharma, has become a resident of the Technopolis Moscow special economic zone. The product range will include more than 15 names of innovative drugs. This was announced by Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.

"On behalf of Sergei Sobyanin, the city pays special attention to the development of the pharmaceutical industry. Recently, another resident of the SEZ “Technopolis Moscow has become a company that specializes in the development and manufacture of medicines for animals. A new production facility with an area of almost 5.3 thousand square meters will open at the Alabushevo site. To implement the project, in which more than 2.1 billion rubles will be invested, the resident will create over 100 new jobs," Maxim Liksutov said.

It is planned that the product range will include drugs for the treatment of infectious diseases such as coccidiosis and necrotizing enteritis in birds. The main customers of these products are the largest agricultural holdings of the Russian Federation and the CIS countries. The launch of production is scheduled for the third quarter of 2026.

The company plans to establish an R&D center for research and development of new medicines in the Technopolis Moscow SEZ, as well as significantly expand the product line by increasing production capacity.

Earlier, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin and Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin opened a Practical Training Center for Mechanical Engineering in the Technopolis Moscow SEZ.
