A company from the Moscow Technopolis Special Economic Zone (SEZ) will begin supplying medicines to Oman

The production site of Oncotarget, a resident of the Moscow SEZ, is certified according to the GMP standard of the state of Oman. The document grants the right to produce and sell medicines for the Sultanate's healthcare sector. The products will be supplied to the partner under the national brand "Made in Russia", which is being developed by the Russian Export Center. This was announced by Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.

"On behalf of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, the city is actively strengthening ties with other countries. Thus, the production facilities of the resident of the SEZ of the capital, located at the Pechatniki site, have successfully passed the certification of the Ministry of Health of the Sultanate of Oman. As part of the cooperation, the company will start supplying medicines for the treatment of socially significant diseases to a foreign partner," Maxim Liksutov said.

An official delegation of the Ministry of Health of Oman is scheduled to visit the Technopolis Moscow special economic zone in the near future to sign a memorandum of long-term partnership with the resident. Within its framework, the company plans to supply the country with a whole range of medicines, including cancer drugs, by 2030.

Earlier, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin and Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin opened a Practical Training Center for Mechanical Engineering in the Technopolis Moscow SEZ.

Technopolis Moscow SEZ is a territory with a special tax regime, where a wide range of preferences are available to investors of high–tech businesses. Companies with SEZ resident status are exempt from paying property, transport and land taxes for a period of 10 years. The income tax rate for them has been reduced 12.5 times to two percent.
