The Medplant Special economic Zone company has created a capnograph for monitoring carbon dioxide in the human body. This is a completely domestic product of a new generation, providing accurate monitoring of the respiratory functions of patients. This was announced by Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.
"On behalf of Sergei Sobyanin, the capital creates unique conditions for the development of high-tech enterprises. Thanks to this, the company from the SEZ “Technopolis Moscow has developed a device for diagnosing the respiratory system. The device allows you to determine the respiratory rate and the carbon dioxide content in the patient's exhaled air. The product has already been entered into the Russian register of measuring instruments. This allowed the company to begin preparations for its launch into mass production," said Maxim Liksutov.
The device differs from imported analogues in its small size, ease and convenience of transportation. The portable device is equipped with modern sensors and highly efficient computational methods that allow accurate measurements. This completely eliminates the need for other methods of diagnosing carbon dioxide in the human body.
During its activity on the territory of the SEZ of the capital, Medplant has developed and launched mass production of over 45 medical devices for emergency care.
Earlier, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin and Chairman of the Government of the Russian Federation Mikhail Mishustin opened a Practical Training Center for Mechanical Engineering in the Technopolis Moscow SEZ.
