Residents of the Technopolis Moscow special economic zone (SEZ) have proposed new breakthrough technologies for Russian industry. Sergei Sobyanin announced this on his MAX messenger channel.
"This year, companies in the capital's special economic zone have patented several high-tech products. A SEZ resident has developed a unique touchscreen display that can be controlled using gestures. It is suitable for displaying 3D images. It can be used in schools to visualize educational material, and in industry to simulate complex production processes," the Moscow Mayor wrote.
Another Moscow company has created a device to automate the process of pressing buttons on a control panel. The device will be used in conjunction with industrial equipment and will significantly increase production efficiency.
Another company presented three developments. Among them is an educational kit for studying the basics of aerodynamics. It consists of laboratory work and a course on programming the control board of aircraft.
A Moscow-based company has developed a wear-resistant coating for band saw blades. It significantly extends the product's service life. Production in the Moscow SEZ is scheduled to begin in 2026.
Since its inception, the Technopolis Moscow special economic zone has brought over 700 intellectual property products to market.
"The Moscow government supports SEZ residents. They receive extensive tax incentives and benefits, enabling them to significantly increase production volumes annually and develop new technologies for the entire Russian industry," added Sergei Sobyanin.
