Residents of the Technopolis Moscow Special Economic Zone have invested over 110 billion rubles in the microelectronics industry

Microelectronics companies have invested over 110 billion rubles in production since their establishment in the Technopolis Moscow SEZ, according to Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.

"In accordance with the instructions of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, the city is creating all the conditions for the development of new high-tech industries. Various incentives and tax preferences allow residents of the capital's special economic zone to increase investment in critical sectors of the economy. For example, since their establishment in the Technopolis Moscow SEZ, microelectronics companies have invested over 110 billion rubles in developing their industrial capacity," said Maxim Liksutov.

These companies produce electronic components, transceivers and multiplexers, microchips, and other innovative products. Thanks to these investments, the companies have created the necessary infrastructure to achieve the technological sovereignty of the Russian Federation.

Earlier, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin opened a photonic integrated circuit production facility in the Technopolis Moscow SEZ.

The Technopolis Moscow SEZ is a territory with a special tax regime, offering a wide range of incentives for investors in high-tech businesses. Companies with SEZ resident status are exempt from property, transport, and land taxes for 10 years. Their corporate income tax rate is reduced by 12.5 times, to two percent.
