In the coming years, the Technopolis Moscow special economic zone (SEZ) will be significantly expanded, allowing it to accommodate even more high-tech companies. According to the industrial development strategy approved by Sergei Sobyanin, by 2030, approximately 600 companies will be operating there, with total investment in the SEZ reaching 1.2 trillion rubles.

"The expansion of the Technopolis Moscow special economic zone is a key element of the capital's industrial development strategy through 2030. At Sergei Sobyanin's direction, we are creating favorable conditions for the launch of new high-tech production facilities within the SEZ: we are building innovative infrastructure to accommodate turnkey enterprises and providing tax and customs benefits to residents. We expect that within a few years, the number of companies here will reach 600, and the investment in developing the sites will reach approximately 1.2 trillion rubles," said Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.

More than 230 high-tech companies, employing over 28,000 people, operate in the Technopolis Moscow SEZ. These companies produce modern pharmaceuticals, medical devices, microelectronics, unmanned aerial systems, elevators, batteries, innovative space products, electric vehicle components, and other products. It is planned that by 2030, the SEZ will create over 90,000 jobs.

Currently, the Moscow SEZ consists of 10 sites with a total area of over 390 hectares. By 2030, this area is planned to expand to 600 hectares. A significant increase in the area of public, business, and industrial infrastructure is also planned: from 1.8 million square meters to 5.7 million.
