Maxim Liksutov: A new site will be opened in the Technopolis Moscow SEZ

According to the Moscow industrial development strategy approved by Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, the Technopolis Moscow special economic zone will be expanded to 600 hectares by 2030. Specifically, new sites are planned to be added, including Alabushevo-2.

"Following the instructions of Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin, we are continuing to develop the capital's special economic zone. Thus, in the coming years, the Technopolis Moscow SEZ will include a new site, Alabushevo-2. Its area will be 27.5 hectares. It is planned to create over 370,000 square meters of industrial, public, and business infrastructure there, which will allow for the deployment of high-tech enterprises significant to the city. The site will primarily focus on microelectronics projects," said Maxim Liksutov, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.

At the end of 2024, four new sites joined the SEZ: the GKNPTs im. Khrunichev, Tolstopaltsevo, Krasnaya Pakhra, and the Karacharovsky Mechanical Plant. Thanks to them, the total area of ​​the Moscow special economic zone has exceeded 390 hectares. The expansion of infrastructure allows more innovative companies to localize in the capital and increase production to meet the needs of city residents and the country.

Earlier, Moscow Mayor Sergei Sobyanin outlined the strategy for the development of Moscow industry through 2030.

Receiving resident status in the Technopolis Moscow SEZ allows companies to enjoy a ten-year exemption from property, land, and transport taxes, and the profit tax rate is now 2 percent instead of 25 percent. Residents are also exempt from customs duties and VAT on imported goods and equipment within the free customs zone.
